The bassist for a rock band touring Hamburg, Marianne takes time out to visit her hometown of Abitibi, 10 years after the collapse of the mine that took the lives of 68 people, including her parents. During a week to memorialize the event, she meets up with the other two members of her former group Gold : Kristoff, who was her boyfriend, and Kevin, who was the only survivor of the tragedy that still traumatizes the community today. Each experiences this return to the tragic events in their own way.
