On a mission to make Christmas unforgettable for Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), the Guardians try to find the perfect present to cheer him up because he’s sad that Gamora’s (Zoe Saldaña) gone. Even though aliens don’t celebrate Christmas, Mantis (Pom Klementieff) reasons that if they go to Earth and find a really wonderful Christmas present for Peter, it would make him happy again.
Drax (Dave Bautista) agrees, saying that instead of finding “something” special, they should find “someone” special. The two travel to Earth to Kevin Bacon’s Hollywood home. They break in, despite the home security system, and tell him he’s coming with them — to be a Christmas present.
