When brother and sister Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis) decide to capture Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera, their plan backfires when the sleigh crashes and Santa loses his magic bag of toys. They go with him on a crazy journey to get his sleigh and reindeer back, during which Santa winds up in jail and the kids are chased by police and a gang of criminals.
