Same-sex couple Aaron (Ari Cohen) and Malik (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman) move to the small town of Rusty Creek so they can enjoy a better quality of life as they raise their 16-year-old daughter. But nothing is as it seems in their picturesque neighborhood. Although their neighbor Tiffany (Chandra West) comes over to welcome them and she and her husband Marshal (Lochlyn Munro) accept an invitation to their home, Malik begins to suspect they’re not as friendly or open to their lifestyle as they try to appear to be. When Malik notices a strange cult-like incident happening in a neighbor’s house, he looks into the town’s past and is shocked to find out about a same-sex couple who were was killed 10 years ago. He believes that now they have been chosen for a similar ritual.
