Having served a 15-year sentence for armed robbery, Jimmy (Jason Sudeikis) is given early parole, and is looking to use this opportunity to spend time with his one true love, Annie (Evangeline Lilly), whom doctors have given a year to live, after she’s diagnosed with cancer. Wanting to give Annie the best year of her life and make ends meet, Jimmy looks to make some extra money on the side. After accidentally killing a courier carrying a large sum of money, Jimmy gets pushed to the limit, dragging himself — and Annie — into a world of violence.
