Jocelyn, a senior executive in Paris, returns home for his mother’s funeral. At the deceased’s home, he sits in her wheelchair, flipping through the family photos. When Julie, a new neighbor, drops by unexpectedly, she assumes Jocelyn lives there and is disabled. He doesn’t tell her any differently, thinking that maybe he’ll be able to get her sympathy and seduce her. When Julie invites Jocelyn to a barbecue at her parents’ home, he accepts, not realizing that Julie has extended the invitation so he can meet her older sister, Florence, who’s also in a wheelchair.
