Mourning for her father while struggling with a senile mother, Misako Ozaki, who writes movie audio commentary for visually impaired people, meets with blind people during trial runs to ensure the quality and relevance of her descriptions. When gruff, middle-aged photographer Masaya Nakamori challenges her textual interpretations as being too subjective and questions her competence, Misako tells him the problem might be his imagination. Nakamori, who doesn’t want to accept that he’s slowly losing his sight, and Misako slowly get past their first impressions and begin to learn from each other.
