In this adaptation of the 1970s TV series Fantasy Island, Melanie (Lucy Hale) is one of several visitors to a remote tropical island. They arrive at a resort run by the enigmatic Mr. Roarke (Michael Peña). Melanie has been told that on Fantasy Island, she’ll find the life she always dreamed of. Mr. Roarke’s assistant assures the guests that on the island, anything is possible. However, each of the guests finds that their fantasies soon turn into nightmares as the island puts a twisted spin on them. Now they have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape alive.
