The cloistered sisters of Berthierville, the only French-speaking community of Dominican nuns in North America, prepare to leave their convent, founded almost a century ago. For each of the nuns, it’s an opportunity to take stock, both individually and collectively, of an existence dedicated to God. Separately, they are seen talking on camera as if it’s a confessional, remembering with humor and emotion their civilian lives, as well talking about their lives as nuns. In the meantime, the sisters also organize a bazaar, to sell the extra items that won’t be needed at their future residence in Shawinigan.
